Petrol in Diesel

Putting petrol in diesel vehicles is our most common misfuel due to the size of the nozzles at the petrol stations in the UK. The petrol nozzle is smaller than the diesel, so it fits very easily into most diesel vehicles. The best decision if you find yourself with the wrong fuel in your tank is to avoid starting the engine and have it drained immediately. If you have started it however, we can still assist you by draining the fuel system as well as the tank.
